I had a 2.78 average coming out of high school. The minimum for the state college was 2.0. I did a year in college making A’s while half time, but dropped down to C’s full time. I dropped out and went to work.
pre skitzo my grades were mediocore and I was partying 247. Post skitzo, like five years after dx. Im still continuing my education but I finally got my ■■■■ together, Im in a steady relationship, have good freindships with people and im less than five months away from earning a MD designation at the end of my name. Pretty stoked-Mayby sz was what I needed
You must be very high functioning.
I struggled to get a C in college chemistry.
i actually failed general chemistry 121 three times before i passed it the fourth time with a c. I also failed o chem once and calculus once. But I never gave up and found what works for me and never gave up on my goals sz or not
you simply cant settle and allow yourself to become delusional with the rift raft
Yeah, college chemistry is tough. I took a four credit hour class that was only four weeks long.
Congratulations on getting your MD!!
thanks but im not a md yet still got five more months to go. I think you can do anything you put your mid too if you believe in it enough and have the appropriate discipline. good luck to you too
A 3.6 GPA. I was a stud.
I finally completed precalculus. Got a C+! I would of prob got like 80% but my 2 month hypomania royally screwed up my progress and had to take the final without much grasp on trigonometry and it was worth 40% of the grade so I took a hit there. But I’m super proud I did it.
I barely knew grade 4 math when I started on my journey of learning math from scratch.
It was part of my journey with working on improving my mental health too
always a topper of the class
I did calculus in college, my average was above 95% and I got invited to math competitions by my teacher. Organic chemistry I finished with 98%, got 99% in the final. In university physiotherapy my avg GPA was 3.8. All that was before my sz. After sz I did the rest of university and got my degree with a 3.1 GPA avg, 4 GPA in physiology, neuroscience, biomechanics and psychology.
That was a sad state of affairs. We’ve had the same thing in the UK with remote learning ,due to Covid. That put bright children and teenagers from less affluent backgrounds at a serious disadvantage.
Max GPA in my university is 4.3.
I got called a nerd by some ppl bcz I had high grades but I didn’t care about them. I just ignored them and continued.
There was one class in my journalism major I couldn’t get above a C and I took that class twice.
Funnily my organic chemistry teacher was shocked when I asked to see my exam. He said you got 99% and you want to know what that 1% was?
I am too perfectionist.
My girlfriend was telling me about when she took a journalism class and said she hated it
Oh really? Journalism was ok. That’s what I thought I wanted to do but I was more interested in learning languages. I took Spanish and Japanese in college.
I found online classes easier. I took two, one on computers and the other biological psychology. I got 4.3 GPA in both.
yeah she initially started off as a marketing major, but ended up going into social work. She is a prominant social worker at the hospital now. thats how we met
