Did carvedilol or beta blocker for heart causes addiction?

Depression already started to attack my heart, I have high BP 140/90 and my BPM is >90 my doctor prescribed me carvedilol, it’s good. My heart is fine now. But I am afraid if it’s causes my heart gonna dependent to this drug in long term.
Any one taking this drug? Or other beta blocker for heart problem because of stress?

Which antipsychotic are u on …!!!

I take propranonol for anxiety.

Haha you remember my post, thanks.

But, is that really dangerous? Yes I take clozapine

I don’t know what cause my BP and my BPM is skyrocketing, but my doc prescribed carvedilol

I have hard time with shallow breath, chest pain, heart pounding.
I take :
Alprazolam 1 mg x2
Ativan 2 mg x1
Clozapine 12,5 mg x1 (I heard antipsychotic increase BP 10-15)
Amytriptyline 25mg x1 (but I don’t drink it, I suspect my heart problem triggered by this drug)

I doubt that beta blockers can be addicting. I’m on propranolol PRN and I take it for ocassionally anxiety, never found it addicting although I could be wrong.

Thank you very much for the answer, I will ask second opinion the other doctor for what happen with my body or my brain

Yeah usually antipsychotic usually is the culprit, in my case clozapine
