Did anyone ever take abilify and geodon at the same time?

If so, did it give you insomnia, and did the insomnia go away after stopping abilify? I hav bad sleeping and I can’t decide if it’s the abilify, geodon, or both

I took geodon and effexor
I had breathing problems felt like I was dying. No insomnia.

Abilify has caused some users here insomnia. It didn’t for me, but I’ve read several peoples’ complaints about that on this forum.

I could barely stay awake on Geodon, i can’t imagine it causing insomnia! Of the two, I would guess the Abilify to be the culprit.

I just discovered 3 mg of Melatonin early this week and it’s done wonders for my Haldol induced insomnia. If you’re interested, do what I did and call your pharmacist to verify there are no contraindications with your med cocktail, or call your pdoc.

It seems odd that I didn’t hav insomnia before wen I was only on abilify. The insomnia started after adding geodon. But mayb geodon has increased the effects of abilify, I don’t kno

I don’t know either, but I do know that you shouldn’t adjust anything without your pdoc’s knowledge and support. Be careful.
