My Spanish teacher was this cute petite woman and was always talking but it was all in Spanish and I could never learn and understand it.
She had both my sisters in her class a year or two before me and really liked them so she gave me a B though I never learned enough Spanish to hold a conversation.
my geometry high school teacher said, “if you take a straight line and send it into space in an upward direction, it will eventually come from underneath and be just as straight…so a straight line bends in space into a circle”.
I was a math major. I developed schizophrenia when I was taking math logic, number theory, and real analysis. It was hard. I withdrew before I could fail. I don’t think I could do it again. I can’t even figure out how to get past inquiring.
When I was in High School, my physics teacher made fun of me and called me an idiot. I think it was every day. Even other students chimed in. I never took a physics course after I failed that one, but I want to.
I guess I was bullied. I wasn’t a serious student back then. It still bothers me.
A junior high teacher once told me to put down my video game and go for a walk. I told him I was enjoying the game. He said when you’re 15 it’s your world, but when you’re 50 you’ll regret the walks you didn’t take, not the games you didn’t play. He was right.
Yes, I had one teacher tell me I was the “most handsome, mentally gifted student” she had ever had. Either that or she said “shhh…others are still taking the test”. It was difficult to be sure which one she really said over the noise me drumming out the tune of “welcome to the jungle” with my hands on my desk. But I’ll take either.
In highschool I was in a gang and a pot head. I went to school 2 or 3 times a week. When I did go-to school I banged out my work and left. They told me I couldn’t graduate highschool because I missed too much class. I had A’s and B’s. They agreed if I went to school the last month of my senior year and didn’t miss any days I could graduate, so I did it. I just slept a lot in class. One of my teachers relayed this message to me from the principal.
Well done for the A’s n B’s its better than i did, i skipped school a lot the last 2 yrs of secondary school uk, my grades were poor and the teachers didnt help me much, i think my school was poorly performing & it was neglected, the building was destroyed the year i left.
lol thats so funny, i remember everyone was so shocked when he said it lmao. its funny how when were kids even a word like ass was like the worst thing anyone could say
