Did any of you stop smoking?

I quit 84 days ago saving up 514 $ . Normally on that time I would smole almost 3000 cigs. I got asthma attack and i got frightened up. I also read a book of Alan Carr (gr8 position).

I am free now. There are so many advantages

I’ve never been a habitual smoker. In my early twenties I started trying cigars, but stopped when I started smelling like a garbage fire, getting headaches, and just the expense of it all.

Every now and again I’ll try them again. I’ve been thinking about it lately. Maybe just one cigar.

No more, I had my last one today

I probably quit over 100 times but it took a “conjunction of the planets” before it stuck. I would not go back. Don’t give up giving up. Anyone can give up and it happens every day.

In September I will be 2 years nicotine free, and close to 3 1/2 years cigarette free. I read “Allan Carr’s EZ Way to Quit Smoking” and the first time I read it, I ended up smoking more, but after reading it the second time, I quit smoking the next day.

Well, quit vaping I guess. I vaped a LOT. I used to smoke 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day before vaping. I consider vaping the same as smoking if not worse, since you’re getting a lot more nicotine than from cigs. Good luck, if you want to you can do it, it’s all a state of mind. When you realize after 48 hours there’s absolutely no nicotine in your body, it makes it easier to get over the mental addiction.

Haven’t had a smoke in over 8 years now after a lifetime of smoking. I got off on champix/chantix. Worked extremely easy and never looked back. It did make me a little quessy in the stomach early but I didn’t even finish the course. Just got to a day where i didn’t buy cigs and I was done!

Best ever thing I did for my health!

I quit cigs but still smoke cigarillos the odd time. I never smoked in highschool or before taking AP’s. Think that was the key. Cigarettes don’t really do anything for me. But those cigarillos do. Colts usually… Damn do they have to flavor them? That’s what gets me I think. The flavouring. At work I think I did it for an excuse for a break. I used to work at a gas station and you worked when the customers came in… Otherwise you were able to structure your day as you wanted… Which mainly was getting along with others.

I love to smoke. I never want to quit. They’re delicious.
