Today I took my service dog Julia to the gym with me and i ran on the treadmill. Then later in the day we took the bus to a local outdoor shopping mall and met up with a friend. They had misters outside which made it feel cooler outside. Our next adventure will be to the airport to train before our flight to Montana in a couple months. Julia is very important to me. She helps me daily with my hallucinations by determining if what I am seeing or hearing is real or not. She is also trained to alert to tachycardia as I have POTS. I have to give a deposition in court here in a couple months and she will be coming with me to help me get through that as well

Today Julia accompanied me to the gym again and we had a talk with the gym assistant manager to see about moving the disability priority equipment labels to equipment on the end of the line. My service dog can only lay down if there is adequate space between machines and the treadmills there is not enough room, so often we are left waiting for an end machine to open up. I suggested to the gym that they move that disability priority label to end machines to allow for people with service dogs or other assistant devices to be able to better access equipment.

It’s great that you are able to access the gym.
If a business can’t accommodate mine I won’t go.
There is not many business that can legally deny you and your dog.
Even the movie theatre.

Are you in the states @Kxev? Here in the US we have the ADA which protects our rights as a service dog team, our state in Arizona also has it’s own laws that permit even service dogs in training(SDIT) to have public access as well.
