(AP make blood sugar affected and overweight from many different AP’s)
Low motivation means i don’t exercise enough and i make excuses not to go for walks when weather is rain or too hot, i guess i could go out ultra early but partner might not get up with me?
Then diet, i like healthy food but dairies are apparently bad with diabetes as they increase insulin resistance over time.
My father in law injects insulin type 2 diabetes, he eats 4 small bland meals a day exactly same time everyday, he eats same every week, ugh guess might be a good idea
Smoking is a big fat NO
Just running this past those fellow diabetics out there, what do you think about it all?
Number one- avoid sugar. Even natural sugar in fruits and juices raise your blood glucose.
Two, count your carbs. They’re converted into blood glucose.
Three, stop making excuses to not get active. Even a little activity is better than none. Activity can drop your glucose and help manage it.
Four, drink a lot of water. Thst also helps drop blood sugar.
Five, always take your meds. Out of control sugar can raise your cholesterol and triglycerides whoch in turn can land you in the hospital with pancreatitis.

Ive read tonight about diabetes and its hit home. The nurse didn’t really tell me anything she said over the phone avoid sugar and animal fats, and that was it? 2 months ago spoke to her and
I thought i was doing well taking metformin, lost 6 pounds and you know its hard losing weight on AP meds? But its taken me 8 weeks to lose that. Ive had a couple of hypos. My diets not been good enough because eg garlic bread and egg on toast isnt great
I really don’t know what to do now. I quit smoking four hours this afternoon but it killed me
