Diabetes meds

I get to go off one of my diabetes meds! My A1C was 5.5! Yay! Looks like losing weight is really paying off!

If it’s metformin, I would beg to not go off it even with an a1c of 4.8.

Why? She’s keeping me on Metformin for now, but what’s wrong with going off it if you’re blood sugar is low?

I’m very proud of you @CoCo Great job! :two_hearts:

I take Glipizide for diabetes, and my doctor said I could stop talking it if I lost some more weight. My last a1c was 5.9 I think.

Mine is at 5.5 now so that’s really good. I think you can lose the weight if you really want to. Good luck!

Well healthy eating, exercise and meds all bring down a1c. So if pianogal can manage her sugar levels with just healthy eating and exercise then that’s awesome. It’s quite possible. And it’s hard work. I’m proud of @CoCo because she is working hard. It’s not easy.
