wow if I am understanding correctly, it is not a good idea to take Omega 3? I have been taking it daily.

No, the reverse. I edited the title to reduce confusion.

According to the authors “Our results indicate that reduced blood omega-3 fatty acids are associated with cognitive impairment, which then impacts social functioning outcomes in schizophrenia.”

Which means lower levels of omega 3 are associated with more cognitive impairments.

Although reading other studies it seems that there is a sweet spot, of 60% EPA, 40% DHA around 1-2 grams per day, and more or less didn’t produce good results.
