Dexatrim diet pills

I just saw something on TikTok that made me remember the diet pill Dexatrim. They sold it at the drugstore. It was basically speed.

I took it in the 90s when I was in high school to try to lose weight.

Does anyone else remember Dexatrim? I think they pulled it off the market in 2000.

I remember Dexatrim. All of those diet pills can cause, and have caused, brain hemorrhages.

There are ways to suppress your appetite that are safe and sustainable. I suggest:

drink plenty of water (about 64oz per day)
eat high-protein food
eat high-fiber food. a “hack” would be drinking 8oz of water, adding a teaspoon of chia seeds to yogurt, then drinking another 8oz of water

Of course don’t use my suggestions in lieu of professional advice. Good luck !

Never tried it or heard of it but sounds wild lol. There’s tons of crazy trends to lose weightm I’ve heard of some woman who died trying these diet pills she found on the black market. They were tapeworm eggs.

I have to be careful of high-protein diets. Alcoholic liver disease from when I was younger. My liver function is “okay” but not what it should be. Trying keto made me sick and I was told not to do that again by my doctor.
