My Mom was afflicted with dementia. Two other aunts also had dementia
And now these studies are coming to light.

I’m basically screwed.

I don’t believe it…it’s probably more common in schizophrenics…but I think it’s when it is genetically caused in ppl with sz. it doesn’t run in my family.

I’ve declined somewhat physically in the last few years, but my cognition isn’t too shabby.

Losing one’s identity looks awful as seen from outside. Maybe for the person experiencing it, it’s not that bad. I can only hope…
