First I’m going to try 3.5 to 3.75 mg instead of 4mg and see how I do.
If I’m still cycling into hypomania then I’ll go up to 4mg
I’m sure that my pdoc would approve.
I’ll tell her when I see her in a couple of weeks
Sometimes some experimentation becomes necessary
@zoa
Idk what to say other than I wish you the best risperidol did nothing neither did invega they both sucked for me and for years I thought they were a scam to take money from people but for some it works
I wish I could figure out why some medications for me do NOTHING and others make my problems WORSE
Anyway irritable mania or mixed mania are the worst
I’ve been pretty stable on 3mg actually for the last couple of days but I’ll go up on the dose anyway to see how I feel long term
I really want to avoid going up to 4mg
At that dose it affects my cognition and libido.
Maybe it takes time to work idk much about risperidol other than my personal experience it appears to have helped you I learned it works for some because of this website lol
In all seriousness though mania and hypomania no matter how good it feels needs to be treated because of the risk of doing dumb ■■■■
While manic and on prozac I got sent to alternative school for vandalism multiple times idk I’m a idiot while manic I hate to admit it
Well that was quick
Feeling irritable as heck so now starting tomorrow I’m going back up to 4mg
I’m destined to be at this dose
Sorry to hear you have to updose however if it helps you it might be worth it plus there’s a lot of medication out there
Irritability sucks but if you need to vent I’ll listen and give what little advice I can
No I’ll be ok @AwesomeFisherman
Thanks
It really depends on your diagnosis, whether is it mild or moderate or severe
Celexa, Risperdal, Geodon and Seroquel all keep my mood even Steven, and have done so for many years. I would swear by this regimen for treatment resistant sza’s.
