Darkness falls

It gave me nightmares and now I can’t watch scary movies or I’ll have night terrors. What was a scary movie that haunted your dreams?

Alice in Wonderland scared me. But I never dreamt so I can’t say it haunted my dreams.

I used to love scary movies but I can’t handle them anymore. I have nightmares. I liked the Nightmare on Elm Street movies even though they freaked me out.

I can’t really recall a horror movie that has haunted my dreams. I’ve seen so many over the years, mostly pretty schlocky ones that were so poorly made and directed they made me laugh.

Some horror movies do scare me though if they’re semi-realistic. Those are the ones I avoid.

Hansel and Gretel was a play I was in in kindergarten. I was the mean old mother. Playing that part gave me a bad time for years. At least the witch was punished.

I don’t remember the name but when I was little I watched one where a monster lived in this kids closet up in the attic where you could slide the ceiling open. That movie stuck with me for awhile.

I can’t remember the name of it, but when I was about ten, my mother and I watched a very scary movie on tv. Then she had to drive across town to pick up my sister. I said I wanted to go with her, and she said she was glad for me to go, because driving in the dark alone would have been scary. I told her I wanted to go with her because I didn’t want to be alone in our house after seeing that movie. We laughed about it, but we were glad for each other’s company.

Oh. I cant watch such movies no more.

When i was 5 or 6 our babysitter was scared and woke me up to watch what i think was 20000 leagues under the sea together. I can still remember the ship flooding and and men drawning.

I always had to cry at certain innocent kids stories as well as a kid. I cried each time about dumbo, when he visits his mum in her cage and she can just reach him to rock him from behind her bars.

Now im back to watching innocent movies like that, cause i cant stand anything else.

When I was 8, my mom showed me the original Poltergeist movie. I had a tree that had branches that scraped against my window. I was terrified for like 2 straight years. I was also afraid to look in the mirror.
