But I am attracted to them like wanting to look over the edge of a cliff. Only watch ten minutes at a time though.

Just watched Lights out. Finally! It took me a year lol.
Utterly terrifying but not to the level that i need to keep my lights on.

Like Twilight Zone stuff is fine. But Saw or It or Alien those are definitely out.

I can watch some depending on my anxiety levels that day but I don’t like gory, more like thrillers with twists and turns, fun trying to figure out what’s going on. I really like surprise endings.
I cant watch scary movies at all.
I used to be able to watch them, but this was years ago.
I used to be very addicted to horror movies. First one was gremlins, which I must’ve watched at least twenty times when I was a kid. Was more of a horror comedy though.
Psychological thrillers tend to get to me more. The ones where you can’t quite see what is threatening the characters, like Mothman.
I only like old, horror movies. Pretty much mostly stuff from the 80’s and past that.
New scary movies are too realistic and disturbing for me.

Damn alien movies mess me up… strangely the alien franchise doesnt bug me… they have to be the intelligent abducting kind… the bug hell bent on taking over doesnt bother me…
All new horror movies are just rip offs of the old ones… realistic gore bugs me… but the funny ones are great… try john dies at the end…
i watched horror films casually before, then stoped completely for couple of years…now in current condition i watch them but i rarely get scared…but its not because i don’t want to or try to suck it up. I sorta cant? if that makes sense
