You mean gene editing? Its not available for sz yet. Genetic therapy is just available for a few simple genetic diseases and it cost 2 millions $, not covered by insurance I think.

A genetic cure is much better than antipsychotics but we’re very far from it. I think scientists just found 20-25% of sz causing genes so far from what I read.

That’s still pretty cool I mean I remember back in the 90s when cloning was unheard of and they still had carborated cars technology moves so fast anymore
