I am working on a book, science fiction. Who else likes creative writing?
I used to do a lot of writing. Feel pretty uninspired these days. It’s had to strike a balance between realism and being interesting.
I’ve written a book. @StarryNight can vouch for it.
I’ve been getting a bit more inspired to try my hand. I’ve never been a huge poetry fan, but I’ve been find some poems here and there that have been giving me some ideas and a bit of want…
I’d like to try it.
Had two books on the go at one stage…Sci/fi humour thing - along the lines of hitchhiker’s and red dwarf humour.
The other was a fantasy
Psychosis from hell and a very compelling voice told me stop. My heart and being written on the obscure windows alternative OS on an old 386. The whole converting it to word was a lot of work that my heart couldn’t take. Think I may have the disks for the OS and what I had written. In my head I think I can vitalize the os on most modern computers but as so far can’t find what I’ve done with the disks. Which is of course 3 1/4 disks.
Most of the story is still in my head. Major problem is magic was where my delusionary thoughts went to the most. Seems a block now and I’m worried about pushing past it but was a major part of both stories.
Did also have anther project on the go. I just don’t want to finish it for many reasons.
i would like to start writing some songs, i just need to understand song structure first
Songs these days are just verses and choruses
Sometimes if you start playing the guitar for awhile, songs just come to you.
There’s a book on songwriting by Jimmy Webb you might like. I have it but have just glanced through it.It’s called 'Tune Smith".
I love writing and have two books waiting to be published, but I’m not so good at storytelling, my writings are more memoirs and reflections
