Do you like to write?

Journaling? Therapy writing? 12 step writing? Creative writing? Writing about your dreams? It has always been helpful to me. It has saved my life many times.

Well I write old fashioned Post Office letters to my brother-in-law, but I never really liked writing because I am not very good at it. Oh, I post on this forum. It’s writing too.

Im so goofered…

At times when texting friends or even professionals since covid madness isolation i will turn my texts into poetry too.

I recall my pals ladyfriend called me to check on who i was… Cuz she likely thought i was another lady…
Ive had ladies tell me im the most manly guy theyve ever known… Yet i see im really a softy about stuff…
Im honestly too broken backed of an ant carrying jolly ranchers for eons in a cosmos.

I email and text poetries and analogies.

I used to journal. But the men were tracking me through my journal so I don’t keep one anymore

I can relate. My neuro-psych encouraged me to keep a journal, and it kept me from going completely insane.

I write novels. Working on my second under my name now. slowly.

I write poetry I wish I could do a novel and become the next JK Rowling but who doesn’t :joy: I’m not that creative but I’m creative

Is your second novel going to be on a similar theme as your first or is completely different subject matter? I am 60% done with your first btw. I am kind of slow when it comes to reading. I can only read so much a day.

It’s the second in the trilogy of the ‘Burn’ universe. Unless I decide to keep going and make it a longer series. But right now I only have ideas for this second book and the third.

I’m glad you are enjoying it! That makes me really happy.

I wish I had the discipline you have to write novels. I have ideas for a couple, but not the discipline to pull it off

I used to write all the time… mostly poems… I haven’t in some time. Would like to start again though

I used to. It was one of my majors in college. I’ve been writing books since I was 3.

I’ve always kept a journal, and I was religious about it up until a few months ago, and I stopped.

I used to write narrative fiction, now I focus on screenplays. I’m in the middle of another one, and I have no idea if I will ever be able to get back to it.

My pain and depression are wrecking my life.

I’ve written a novella about mental health. It will be published soon as a ebook by Faber and Faber.

Ha, my second is taking forever because I lack discipline.

I ghostwrote books before, but for myself it’s taking an age.

Oh really, that’s cool. What style of books were they? Fiction or nonfiction?
