Craving spaghetti...gotta go to the store

Suddenly I am craving pasta…spaghetti is my go to because it makes so much. yum.

I just used my leftover pasta sauce to make chicken. Just put breasts or boneless thighs in a pan, cover with your sauce, cover pan in foil, and bake at 300 for 3 hours or so, until chicken comes part easily. Top with mozzarella or parm and melt before serving.

I make my pasta sauce thick and chunky. I always use the Hunt’s canned sauce, bur bulk it up with ground beef and sliced italian sausage. I also add mushrooms and chunks of onion. To season I add 1/4 cup Splenda to cut the acid or two tablespoo s sugar. Then add in a tablespoon minced garlic, a teaspoon of onion powder, a tablespoon italian seasoning and often extra oregano.

My family loves the sauce, it’s a staple here and used for all our pasta dishes.
