People around here buck the system. Refuse to wear masks and gather with others when it’s not allowed. They say people die every year from the flu. Try to educate them and they get really abusive.
Just to know…in Manitoba 2019, 17 people died of the flu.
Since march of 2020, 990 people have died of covid.
Why are people so ignorant?

Churches here are doing a lot of that, promoting mass gathering and no masks or following the rules

I get you, I have a friend who is an antivaxxer. He wont take the vaccine as the virus will disappear when 70% will be vaccinated. He thinks covid was created on purpose to make money and to plant spying microchips in ppl. He also believes a pill or an injection will grow hair eventhough he’s bald. Idk why I unblocked him on whatsapp, fb, etc, should have kept him blocked.

Pendejos (stupid). It’s fine I think to gather in worship but to not wear masks is stupid. They have a right to practice their religion.
There was a doctor. A Chinese whistleblower who said on the news that Covid was created in a lab. I don’t think it’s for spying but I do believe it was created. The Chinese government has long been known for its human rights violations. That’s all I’m saying
No one really knows the cause of covid. Thats what the most reputable sources say.
This Chinese doctor worked in the lab where it was created. She witnessed it. It doesn’t matter now. Everyone has to take precautions. This doctor had to leave China though.
People that won’t wear masks, tell lies about the virus, and lies about the vaccine really make me angry.
All we needed was for people to stay apart for a while. Yet they can’t do it.
My parents church has church online. There is one church in particular that has thousands of dollars in fines but keep going. There is talk that there may be some jail time coming
Stores also phone the police if a person comes in without a mask after being asked to leave and the police escort them out and give them a fine.
Oh yeah. I’ve heard of churches getting fined. My dad’s church had service online for a long time. Now they are having regular church. I don’t go to church so idk if they’re doing social distancing/masks but they are having church
I thought it started in fresh, exotic food marketplaces.
Like someone ate a bat that was infected and got sick and it started spreading.
There’s a similar virus in bats. Perhaps if the western world could raise enough meat for poor people in China we wouldn’t have these problems. There’s no proof it’s artificial and it’s easy to say these things on the internet. I’d suspect a wet market and perhaps solving world hunger- which we could easily do if we didn’t spend as much money on machines of war. My two cents.
I feel you, we get people like that in the US as well. I got vaccinated so their carelessness won’t kill me.
Just saw a young (teen or young adult) man walk confidently into a gas station today with no mask and zero regard. Thanks bud.
Also the ultra right religious folks have a lot to say on FB about no mask, no vaccines, and stupidly no virus.
I don’t expect much from people who have relationships with imaginary beings. Lack of rationality in other areas of their lives is not surprising.
