Don’t downplay the severity of this illness.
It’s literally shutdown the world.
People are dying, jobs are lost,
It’s a complete shitshow out there.
Anyone with any sense can see that this is very different from the flu.
My ex mil is in the hospital on a ventilator right now. According to my ex husband
Isnt it something like 200000 dead now in the US? Thats alot of people, it seems to be nearing car accident deaths.
I read the statisics 10% out of a 100 die, so if 100 get 10 die on average
Yea 217 066 deaths in the US so far.
I’m not going to argue with you about the numbers.
Any idiot can see the impact COVID has made globally.
You’re being really ignorant.
The only reason you’re not worried about it is because you don’t have a job to lose,
Your income is protected.
If you were like me, my husband, and many others who are at the mercy of this pandemic,
You’d understand.
My parents tested positive and pretty sure they infected me. Its heavier than a Flu. I don’t get extreme headaches and fever 37.6C from a regular flu. Also too much coughing I feel like vomiting sometimes. But its not as deadly for me bcz I am just 30 y.o.
You’re intilted to your opinion just like I am
sorry 2 hear that, have ur parents and u recovered or still with syptoms?
We’re still coughing a lot, runny and blocked nose, can’t taste or smell. But the worse has passed, headaches and fever for 2-3 days.
This isn’t about opinions,
It’s about facts.
I’m not arguing with you about it.
You’ve got the maturity level of a fourteen year old,
Wouldn’t expect you to understand anyway.
That is great that the worst has passed I hope and pray you and your parents make a full recovery
Thanks @san_pedro

'covid is devastating, many survive, but many many do not. It’s much more deadly than the flu.
A member of my family got covid. I convinced him to go to the hospital. Normally, for the flu, he would just keep working. Covid put him in bed for about 2 weeks to a month, asking for people to just let him die, almost killed him, and seemingly left him with long term health problems such as high blood pressure, shaking hands, and damage to his nervous system, none of which that he had before.
It is much worse than the flu, even if you just count the long term health effects, and not the tremendous death toll.
@san_pedro please stop spreading misinformation about covid.
I’ve never had friends or family die of the flu before. I’ve lost three to COVID in less than a year.
Maybe think before you post next time.
