My previous psychiatrist took me above the maximum limits, of two drugs and for a while with injections as well. It was his theory that he had to completely knock out the symptoms. The result was a great deal of sedation for 6-12 months and early signs of tardive dyskinesia (tongue movements). He knew there was a risk of seizure so he also put me on anti-seizure medication.
I have a new psychiatrist now. I am now below the maximum limits.
