Coronavirus: how to stop the anxiety spiralling out of control

The latest numbers … coronavirus deaths 3400 worldwide, infected 101000 worldwide … I am little worried about this virus.

Google “corona stolen hand sanitizer”. It’s ridiculous how many news stories there are about this from around the world. People are even stealing them from hospitals.

I saw mention of that on Twitter . A worrying situation , that only serves to make things worse .

Leading officials of the Iranian government have been infected, this was written in the news, also the head of Italy’s Democratic Party has been infected, this have become the worldwide problem. Maybe it is better to stay inside. I also read that many people have become infected in Iceland.

There isn’t a case in my town yet so I travel in and out for medicine but I don’t go any further than that. I wouldn’t dare to

It seems that this coronavirus epidemy has worldwide economic problems, oil price has crashed …

Our country is so worried about the economy crashing that they are still going ahead with the st Patrick’s day parade which I think shows a lack of concern for our elders

A few cases in my local hospital that’s 15 mins away

I have to admit it’s a big job for me to keep my coronavirus anxiety under control.

I am having sinus issues and feel like I have a cold.
So far minimal symptoms and it’s been about 4 days.

I could very well have the Coronavirus.

I’m tired of panicking

I’m going to try to get tested from my family doctor on Monday, if this is possible.

I have been running hot for about 5 days. Right now I am stripped down to my underpants. My parents cam back from a cruise 2 weeks ago. Quite the Venn diagram I got going on

Korea has 7000+ cases and I am immunocompromised. My mother believes that I don’t have an underlying disease. So it is absolutely scary. If I get it, the risk of complications will rise.

The coronavirus would save me from suicide.
Everybody wants to go to heaven but noone wants to die.

I dont follow the news and im not scared. At all. If i get it, i get it, and i trust my body to fight it off. If that fails, i will die. shrugs

I have all sorts of odd anxieties, and hypochpndriac ideas, but corona doesnt bother me in the least. I just visited a friend from an area where people are adviced to work from home. Now im off for a massage and dancing. My government recommends people not shake hands, so massages and tango are probably not recommended either. But i dont think panicking and staying inside will help. Maybe my son catches it from his classmate, maybe my dad from his client…you never know.

It doesnt feel any worse than the flu to me, but maybe thats because i dont follow news.
