Coping with Paranoid thinking

I am working on coping skills for paranoia and paranoid or delusional thinking/ one thing to avoid is isolation, Im currently staying with people who are helping me in my path to recovery. One: magical thinking and discernment —know how to practice your own faith or spiritual method without it causing mental distress. For instance, I pray or meditate silently if I hear a voice I dont react, like in Yoga and Meditation. That helps the most. I go with how I feel or what makes me feel comfortable–I could personify my recovery in my own unique way so Im improving how to be spiritual or in tune but not religious.

Coping with paranoid ideation: not everything is a conspiracy, when you are open-minded you can become an open channel thereby more subject to influence by those who prey on the vulnerable. Avoid youtube people who claim to have the answers and try to sell you things, then give you some weird or scary conspiracy that makes you want to subscribe to them. Its harder for me to control with this illness, because I get sucked in very quickly and I have been dealing with a paranoid delusion for the past two days that I know isnt real but I cant shake after watching a five minute youtube video.
