COPAIBA as a possible substitute for CBD?

Copaiba oil is a cannabinoid like CBD and acts on CB2 receptors just like CBD but directly because CBD acts indirectly.
and there is a lot of research stating that cbd has a neuroprotective action and could even be a milder substitute for antipsychotics.
so my question is: could copaiba oil, which is a thousand times cheaper than cannabidiol, be a possible substitute for cbd in the treatment of schizophrenia? in place of antipsychotics for those who have milder positive symptoms???

As far as I know, you can’t ingest copaiba oil. It can only be used topically. You shouldn’t ingest it. Whereas cbd oil can be ingested. So I don’t see how copaiba oil could be effective in treating fully certain mental illnesses. I could be wrong about this.

in fact it can be ingested yes, however is that in high doses it can cause diarrhea.
what has to be done is to find the right dose

I see now it can be ingested. It has not been approved by the FDA, I think. It is interesting it can be recommended as an anti inflammatory though. I have that problem.

there is no research on copaiba oil in schizophrenia but from what I deduced maybe there is some light on this. there is research in rats that shows a neuroprotective effect, but anyway there is still a lack of research, I will try for myself to do the test using copaiba oil which is very cheap and accessible here in Brazil and see if it reduces my positives that are already almost non-existent.

copaiba is more potent because it has 50% cannabinoids and CBD usually has 2.5 to 30%
so the dose of copaiba can be lower than that of CBD
I’m going to use it and I’ll update you on how the experience was

I have loads of essential oils.

I also have copaiba. It works as aromatherapy and is a nice scent. Maybe it can help to relax and take some anxiety away like lavender oil.

I wouldn’t expect too much medicinal properties.
