Confusion with drs orders

So I’m on an immunosuppressive chemo type drug once per week.

For side effects I’m supposed to take Leucovorin.

On the bottle, it says to take one per day. But the nurse messaged me through the portal saying to take it once per week the day after the other drug.

I messaged them back saying what my bottle says. I even called my pharmacist and asked them to look at the original script and it does say once per day, not once per week

I’m still waiting to hear back. In the meantime I’m not taking it until I know what to do.

That seems pretty sloppy of your dr’s office, giving conflicting information like that.about a prescription drug. If they dont get back to you promptly, I would call them again before the office closes.

The office is closed. If I don’t hear from them by noon tomorrow I’ll call @Moonbeam

Depends on how often you take your first drug. I only take lucovorin once a week as I only take methotrexate once a week.

@sweetpotatopie , they literally gave me a script for 90 tabs for a 3 month supply only to now say take it once per week the day after methotrexate
