wow ! Thanks @firemonkey!

So these ACE inhibitors may help with KAT II inhibition as well! …Nicely spotted…

“Since KYNA is a glutamate receptor antagonist, we analyzed the effect of
three ARBs: irbesartan, losartan and telmisartan on KYNA production in
rat brain cortex in vitro.”

I have experimented with anti hypertensive drugs (given that a lot of early anti psychotics were in fact anti hypertensive ) and found some to be quite helpful - the calcium channel blockers for example and even some beta blockers. But never tried with the ACE inhibitors.

Thanks @twinklestars and @firemonkey - time to print out these studies and trek over to my doc to try and get him to prescribe low doses to try out. If I cant get him onboard may have to get a mate in Thailand or India to get me a few tabs!
