How have your cognitive symptoms affected your ability to work?
Last volunteer job I had, I was fired because I couldn’t tell what my boss expected of me. And I was too paranoid to ask. Literally paranoid of my boss.
While out in public I tend to get overwhelmed easy. I have not had a job since I was 22 unfortunately. It’s going on four years without one. Going to be looking for jobs to work from home soon.

Every night, we order what we want to eat, where I live. And every day the next day, we all forget what we ordered the previous day. Now, where I live, there are a bunch of 70- 100 year olds living there. Average age: 83. I am the youngest one there at 58. My memory is as bad as an 83 year olds apparently. And I am only 58. That’s how bad my cognition is.

Have you tried to monetize your hobby via youtube, sites like bandcamp, patreon etc?
I haven’t yet. I’m still making music multiple times a week. Working on a 7 track EP. Five of them are already done. I make lots of different videos on youtube, though. Most are vlogs of my life and some of them are purely about mental health.
I should look into getting a patreon account for my music, though.

my worst one is verbal fluency deficit, can’t connect my thoughts together that well, causes difficulties with giving presentations. thought disorder poverty of thought makes completing tasks which involve sequences very difficult.
Oh man, organization, time management, time sensing ('like I forget what time it is), memory in general, and like motivation to clean the house are my main cognitive symptoms that still plague me to this day!
I can’t remember what I’m supposed to be doing or what I have done. At my most recent job as an executive assistant, the director told me that she was having a hard time with me because I was supposed to be keeping her on task, not the other way around.
