I love coffee too, but dont any of you guys feel like anxious? or adrenaline rushes? after like drinking one everyday for maybe 3 days? oO
Gosh I wish.
I drink 2 cups of coffee in bed in the morning and go back to sleep.
add salted butter to your coffee. This is called bulletproof coffee. Enhances the effects
coconut oil is good too. also in tea.
You know, Iāve been doing this since I heard about it on some tv show about a month ago, but
I forgot why?
Other than it was supposed to help your metabolism.
@crsaen, can you elaborate?
i like chocolate and soda.
On my fourth double shot latte today . I have changed vape flavor to banoffe pie. Feel a bit wired glad I have Vallium to bring me back to earth .
Here in north Lanarkshire they are really cutting down on the amount of Valium prescribed.
Have been on it for years 3x5mg per day pdoc happy with it have anual med review with gp tomorrow will let you know how it goes.
I love coffee, but sometimes I overload on it and throw up. My mother, pdoc, nurse, and friend all tell me to quit drinking so many cups of coffee because I make myself sick. Drinking only one cup of coffee at the moment, but itās a super strong espresso, like 4 or 5 shots total, with 5 splenda sweeteners and some half and half.
Iām learning to savor my one cup of coffee in the morning, switch to yerba mate green tea after that, and I wonāt have another cup of coffee until noon or thereafter so I wonāt get all queasy and puke.
One thing I hated in the psych wards was they kept giving us bland, decaffeinated coffee. Nothing like being out in the world, shopping for classy espresso and getting to make fine coffee! Itās truly a luxurious experience!
Am not too bad with coffee but I have been known to vape too strong a nicotine liquid in the past. Tweeks me out.
Just got back from annual review with GP no mention of stopping my Vallium or Zopiclone Im lucky to have good GP . I also had first appointment with new CPN as last one has retired he seems nice and very helpfull.
That is cool man. Personally I think benzos are good meds. I think the problem is that in Scotland a lot of folk abuse them and spoil it for everyone. I have had good results with clonazepam.
FUUUUUU*CK psych wards!!! Evil⦠They had two tabs in the cafeteria for coffee. One orange, one black. I asked which one was decaf, unable to believe that a hospital would let us have caffeine. The nurse said she didnāt know. I drank copious amounts of both. Zip. Neither one was caffeinated!!! When I was transferred to a lower level facility, I snuck into staff area and poured myself a cup of coffee and said it was hot chocolate. The sassy nurse wasnāt taking my ā ā ā ā , so she took it away. I should have thrown that coffee in her face. Evil peopleā¦
Yes, the lack of autonomy (freedom to do what you feel like) in psych wards is bordering on (if not already passed) unconstitutional. I once had a security guard hound me about putting on my socks in the ER triage for psych patients back in my 20ās. I hated the sight of them so I would keep secretly taking them off. Heād come check and yell PUT YOUR SOCKS ON. It was the most ridiculous argument everrrr.
Iām still mad.
I think we need more freedoms in psych wards, more choices to be independent.
Coffee is just the beginning, Iām also pissed about the restraints they used on me (a nonviolent patient, stupid American Ambulance company),
But back to coffeeā¦having my instant coffee and waiting on my espresso to come in the mail! Excited! Nothing like the taste of creamy coffee in the morning! Itās like my reward for getting out of bed in the morning lol
Yeah we were put on decaf too. They told us it was real coffee but I caught them putting in decaf. It happened cos one woman ran out of cigarettes so drank like 20 cups and went all crazy. The whole ward got put on decaf then. Just to make the nurses lives easier.
Whatās next? Haldol in the mashed potatoes?!
yes, yes it is like a reward. Very well put!
