Co-enzyme q10

I just took an hour-long bike ride after dinner on a full stomach, then popped a few yellow capsules and relaxed. Pretty good feeling. I’ve heard people say it prevents cancer.

Any other opinions? you can get it at most pharmacies or health/nutrition shops.

I take it. The doc I go to for such stuff prescribes it for me.

I want to start it, but it’s a bit expensive, and I already take so many supplements. It would be good to see about getting a prescription for some of them. Hmm.

Yes, I have it prescribed for me. My insurance company doesn’t pay for it, however.

For quality supplements at lower prices, I suggest Swanson.

I tried taking in two separate periods in the last year and half. The first time was fine but I quit because I read it raises dopamine. The second period I took it I almost went psychotic, it felt like I couldn’t get a handle on my life. I was losing control. All I’m saying is be careful. It does seem to curb depression though.

I just want to say that I have re-evaluated my coq10 usage. I think my deterioration at the time was from a different supplement because I have retried the coq10 at varying dosages and it seems to be fairly helpful. I just wanted to post this incase someone were to decide against trying it because of me. I think it helps more than it hurts. It helps to stop brain oxidation which people with schizophrenia and bi-polar have problems with. It also helps protect the heart which people like us definitely need.

Thank you for sharing your experience with CoQ10. Glad to hear that it helps! I think the antioxidant and heart health benefits are vital. If you take a water and fat-soluble form, it’s better absorbed by the body so you don’t have to take as much. Amazon has good prices.
