i cant wait to have my induction tomorrow and become a full member of this clubhouse, i am hoping to talk to the Employment people about small paid work and also the welfare rights officer, its exciting but i dont even know if i can do anything, i want to try though.
Good going @daydreamer. You have achieved a lot over the last year!
i went to the induction and it was really good, spoke to a few people and asked a few questions, it sounds really good basically there is no pressure to do anything but they try and encourage people to join in with the activities, it has a cafe, and allotment, and lots of oppertunities for things like work and education, volunteering,
so after i spoke to the work person about TEP’s and i was telling him about how my condition affects me and my anxiety and he said i should join in with the activities and try all of the activities first and then he will be able to better judge what i am capable of, so
i got a few appointments coming up for this thursday and then my p/doc on tuesday and then another on the 21st but i’m going to go to the clubhouse as much as i can and i might have to take a train and on top of that i need to finish decorating my mums house lol.
pretty busy schedule but i think it is doable lol.
That is really good @daydreamer! It all seems very recovery orientated which is good. Don’t overexert yourself though. I’m really impressed!
Wow. But yeah, don’t bite off more than you can chew though.
