Has anyone stopped clozapine cold turkey because of their white blood cells?
What was it like, and how long did you have clozapine and at what dose?

Hi there,
Certain aps will cause different people withdrawels on sudden stops.
I battled trying to get off clozapine, and didnt feel a thing stopping all the other aps i used.
Some people have no problem coming off clozapine and have battled with certain other Aps. Really is how your body reacts to the med you on.
I did however get some serious withdraw from it though, i just wrode it out and its gradually getting better. What i noticed is that for me, i really had to cut it fine on tapering, to like a dose that was a crumb… never had any problem stopping any other med cold turkey. And what was interesting is that mentally clozapine didnt do much for me, it just made me dependent
If you need to stop if for wbc for reasons there are stuff to help you take that im sure your doc can help with.
You might not have one withdrawel symptom anyways from it so dont worry about it if you do have to stop it.

Yeah, I will have to see what the pdoc will say. Do you know of any medications that help with the withdrawal of clozapine?

Welcome to the forum! Just discuss your fears with your dr. If there are meds that help, your dr will know about them. Good luck!
