I have never had cable TV, but my parents have it, and they always spend ages trying to find things that are not on repeat
If it’s anything like that for you in the US as well, I’d say you have saved well!
I also “cut the cord” with cable about a year ago…I don’t miss it. The government currently pays for my internet and I stream only Netflix and Discovery Plus and YouTube (without commercials)…plus I have an antenna for local channels.
