I fell in love with a few old composers of classical music back in the late twentieth century mostly Beethoven, Schubert, and a few others. I lost my enjoyment when it became an issue of Pride. It was so profound, I really miss it. It helped me through the darkest of times, I was mourning a death of someone. I am a amateur musician and I enjoy the music I play but only listen to rock and roll stations now. I am trying to enjoy jazz and blues. Anyone into classical music?
I’ve been listening to it on the radio. It’s not that bad. I like Beethoven.
I like the Russian nationalistic composers ( like Prokofiev, Smetena, Mussorgsky)
I listen to classical music on the radio for a week sometimes. For me it kind of cleanses the palate, and gets me creative again. Listening to a lot of jazz and blues lately, too
I’m gonna have to check them out.
Listen to Leon Bridges!
I’ll check him out
Yeah he’s pretty cool. Old-time soul
Oddly enough, I’m a classical pianist but I don’t listen to classical in my free time. That said, I love the Romantic to early modern composers, especially French and Russian and German. Chopin, Rachmaninov, Poulenc, Brahms, Schubert, etc.
Not really schooled in music I like listening to Bach. and a few other cd’s my brother has copied for me.
IDK. I like when Schroeder plays.
Yes. Die-hard fan of baroque. Bach, Vivaldi, Scarlatti…
