Does religion make schizophrenia worse or does it help you. Are your delusions based on religious beliefs or something else? Is the voices in your head christians, atheists, Hindus etc or supernatural? How spiritual are you, do you believe that Jesus died for your sins?

Many of us have taken interest in religions when we are psychotic, and we think we are chosen to restore a religion or start a new one.
I donāt know if this will get locked, but I am a Christian. It gives me hope when Iām not feeling well, but for some people, religion can fuel religious delusions. I had a friend who didnāt go to church for 2 weeks because she had believed that she was God. She quickly realized this was a delusion so she stayed off of church for some time until she wasnāt triggered at church.
Religion is a forbidden topic in the forum. This thread is going to get locked. Otherwise I would be discussing Atheism.
My schizophrenia developed into religious sprit. I didnāt believe in God, my thought about it was āPeople are praying the God by doing false work around a symbol with a desire wish in their mindsā. But after my visual hallucinations i am now speech less and become a religious person.
It was ok with me up until the ājesus doed for your sinsā stuff
