Slicing the cheese works better than grating the cheese .

I use cheese slices in grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers. I use grated cheese on nachos and tacos.

Grated cheese is good on a sandwich although decent quality sliced cheese is good on a burger!

I’m a cheese fanatic! I don’t care if the cheese comes grated or sliced, so long as it is good quality. Although i don’t like Brie cheese…not sure why.

I’ve never had cheese on toast, is it good?

I like grilled cheese, especially with bacon, but I’ve never just had cheese on toast. It’s a UK food, right? Or am I mistaken?

Yes they are good. Put cheese and ham in the bread that’s nice. Much better than just cheese

I like grilled cheese sandwiches dipped in hot sauce. Sparrow likes grilled cheese with tomato soup. I think cheese on toast (Britain) and grilled cheese sandwiches (United States) are the same thing but I’m not sure.

Has anyone here used a Foreman grill to make a cheese toastie ? How did it turn out if so ?

Ok. So what you Brits call cheese toasties we Americans call grilled cheese sandwiches. At least according to Google:

What: The British like things on toast, right? Toasties , or toasted sandwiches, are merely an extension of that love, and they are big in this country—particularly when filled with cheese , making it a cheese toastie and quite the same as what many of us would call “grilled cheese ”: a hot, gooey cheese sandwich.
