Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

I don’t often get bread because there’s some evidence it contributes to my arthritis but when I do I almost always fix a few grilled cheese sandwiches before it is gone. I noticed that adding garlic salt to the bread while cooking it makes it really taste good.

I gotta say you’re a person after my own heart. Gotta have em at least once a month with tomato soup. Yummy!

That sounds delicious. I always put garlic salt on grilled cheese. I also add some butter and onion powder. Real good stuff.

Never heard of grilled cheese and garlic salt. Sounds good.
I like dipping my grilled cheese in hot sauce.

Grilled cheeses are wonderful! My favorite grilled cheese typically consisted of cheddar and american mixed or pepper jack and cheddar.

I make my grilled cheese with mayo instead of butter. It’s really good. :sun_with_face:

Being Australian, we have toasted sandwiches but nothing like an American grilled cheese sandwich.

When we were in San Francisco we stayed near a Lori’s diner, it’s all I ate while we were in that city. Well, mostly.

I just made two grilled cheese sandwiches last night before bed.
It had 4 different cheeses on it, velveeta, aged chedder, mozzarella, and parmesan.
I also grilled some onions and mushrooms in butter, then put that on top of the cheese, the put the two pieces of bread together and grilled a few minutes more.
Mmmmmmmm
