Cheap food

I started using the too good to go app to get food at 711.

It comes in a surprise bag with 3 items. Usually its either chicken sandwich, pizza sub, jello, fruit (apples grapes), chicken or seafood wraps.

Its 5 bucks canadian per bag.

Basically the food expiry date is that day or the next. But of course that food is still good for few more days if you keep in fridge.

So thats been my lunches and dinner lately

There is a Chinese takeout place here where you can get a ton of food like 2 lbs of Americanized Chinese food for like 10 dollars

I love it :slightly_smiling_face:

I find carrots are really healthy and cheap. It’s important to get some fresh food in imo

It might be more common in major cities

@LevelJ1 yeah Walmart is supposed to give outdated stuff to the food banks (they brag about it during CBLs) but they don’t around here it all goes in the TRASH

Do you still get slurpies at 711. I was 7 when we lived in America for two years and we’d go 711
