Hope CBT will work for me. I am at my last straw. I hope I will get treatment. Please recommend someone.

CBT will work if you put in the effort to make it work. Participation is key.

After my initial diagnosis, I was put on an AP and AD so I could fully recover from my symptoms. I still had hallucinations and anxiety but it was only because I spent most of my time at home.

I attended CBT so I could interact with other people who were mentally Ill. This greatly improved my hallucinations, if not rendering them completely gone and it helped with my anxiety.

It’s good because it’s mostly group work and faciliatated by a professional instructor who is knowledgable about the subject.

CBT was a life-saver/changer for me. I lived pretty much captive to my angel companion who bullied me relentlessly. CBT changed my relationship with “him” and put me more in control.
It took a year of CBT and about two-three years longer of using techniques I learned to get to a place where I can resist “his” bullying and not end up sobbing and hurting myself.
CBT was the best thing that ever happened for me. I hope you get the same benefits from it! I wish you the best!️
