Amyloban helps with my mood spikes and my chronic pain.
Can I ask what you take for your psychosis symptoms?
I take a cbd oil (full spectrum) and smoke hemp (high cbd, less than .3% thc) about a gram a day.
I load my system with cbd for its antipsychotic properties. I feel it fills the gaps that meds canāt get to.
Since starting on the regimen, Iām much more at ease. The hemp gives a sedating effect which I like very much.
As to cost, I pay about $1 a day for the oil and $4 a day for the hemp. So $5/day about the cost of 1/2 pack of cigarettes.
@keylow: Iām diagnosed sza and gad. I was new to pot when I got sick rather quickly. Pot has always been in my history since the dz, Iād suggest to you and everyone here to avoid thc > .3%
Good luck on your journey
Geodon, but I donāt have psychosis symptoms anymore and havenāt for over 3 years. I had hallucinations from age 14-27
It doesnāt calm me as much as it seems to boost the effectiveness of my AP. It takes less medication to knock out more of my symptoms, so I have fewer positive symptoms and fewer side-effects as a result. And, yes, it does help with nerve pain to my surprise. So much so I that I was able to stop taking Vicodin for chronic pain. (Currently back on it for something different, but only a few weeks of it left.)
Wow it started early for you. My symptoms started at about 27 years of age. A good 10 years ago! I have been free of hallucinations since 8 years ago. Clozaril was pretty much my silver bullet but it is also right when I stopped pot.
Iām now taking a quarter the dose of Clozaril from my original prescription. I feel ok on that end but my anxiety, depression, lack of motivation is getting to me. Sleeping is no problem. Actually some days I can sleep 12-15 hour days now. No motivation I once hadā¦oh and short term memory issues! Looking hard to find something to help me with those
