Have been stressed for about a week. I get symptoms when I am stressed. Yesterday I heard a single really loud water drop sound.
This sound was so exaggerated it was basically like out of an old Tom and Jerry cartoon. Proper ‘plop’.
There was no repeat noise.
I have been freaking the ■■■■ out. Is so lame man - a single sound has ruined my month! Some folk here have mean voices 24/7 and I am bested by a cartoon plop.
Do you normally hear noises or voices etc? I.e. auditory hallucinations?
I think if you don’t normally hallucinate sounds and you suddenly do, that it’s understandable that it would rattle you.
Sometimes Microsoft windows makes that noise for emails etc. so If you had the tv on the news, someone’s pc could have made the noise.
i heard cartoon noise years ago. i was alone and there was cartoons coming from the basement. the gas fireplace turned on all of a sudden it was night. i was psychotic. no one was around. it was night. really scary.
It could be an iPhone app too.
Oh wow! You just saved my bacon. I have a new Mac computer. I didn’t think of that! It was totally that!!
I had gotten real bad noises in the past but a recent med change helped that. I thought my new meds were crapping out and was so worried.
