For those of you who are or were on this med, did you ever got your skin burn because of the sun or is this rare? I got pissed off reading that this may be a side effect since the place where I am is very sunny, and not in the cute way.
@Wave seems to be among the small number of users here that are on tegretol.

I was on Tegretol for years in the past.
I am no longer on it.
Getting sunburn from it is a pretty rare occurrence
Never happened to me, however I’m not in the sun very often

Alright I thought it happened more often like lamotrigiene and skin rash
Me neither but my family goes to the beach sometimes.

If you are going to the beach, just make sure you put on enough sunscreen that’s all

Did you get sunburn just by being exposed to the sun a few minutes? Or did it take some time?

No not for only a few min but it wouldn’t take long at all for it to happen

I was on antibiotics maybe 2 weeks ago. I had to stay out of too much sun due to sun sensitivity from antibiotics.
Never experienced this with my AP though

Did you get sunburn or was it like you didn’t stand the sunlight? The sun has never been kind to me.

I would have been more likely to get burnt easily. Also I’m getting laser hair removal but they have postponed it for 7 weeks from the time I came off antibiotics. Apparently I can get burns from the laser even after I come off the antibiotics. So need to wait 7 weeks.
