I can’t watch the Exorcist because of the possession scenes in it…too horrifying to me. Any movies you can’t watch?
I don’t like the Ring, that scared me very much
oh hell, that movie is scary…
Texas chainsaw massacre really made me feel awful.
Me too! Coming out of the TV, too much.
Yes that was so scary
There are a few movies I wish I had not seen.
When my sister was stuck in bed for basically months after back surgery,
We watched AFI’s top ten in every category.
Super fun until we got to Horror/Most Disturbing.
I will not admit to what I’ve seen because some of those movies were super, super ■■■■■■ up.
A couple I went to great lengths to get a copy of.
A popular movie that scares me too much is “Deliverance”.
I lived in the town where they filmed.
(One of the towns)
That stuff is not a lie or even exaggeration.
There are some very scary people in those mountains.
I’ve seen them.
Interacted with them.
I think the horror of it all for me is that it wasn’t too far of base.
And also living there.
I laugh with exorcist.
Thrillers make me laugh.
I can’t take them seriously
Its very rare that a movie makes me feel a sense of unease. But there was a couple scenes of it follows that got me. And also a scene from talk to me.
Nah I love scary movies. I have since I was a kid.
That said I usually don’t like when “scary” movies are all gore. That’s just gross and a sign of poor story writing to me.
I can watch scary movies as they’re not real. I won’t watch the news, however. Winds me up.
Same. The news as all bad news and amped up to 100. No thanks.
I don’t want the clutter from scary movies in my mind, so I don’t watch them.
I used to watch horror movies a lot when I was younger, but I can’t do that anymore. Sometimes even the news are too much to me. I get so scared so easily and my imagination goes wild.
I’d rather watch cute kitten videos and light entertainment. Everything too scary and distressing make me feel really bad so I need to switch channels and stop watching.
I’ve heard Jacobs ladder is insaaane
I would love to watch Jacob’s Ladder but I suppose it would be too much for me. Is it really scary or does it make you anxious? I’m very sensitive to scary and distressing stuff. Sometimes I get really upset if I hear stuff on the news, and get scary thoughts in my head I can’t shake off…
The opening scene still plays in my mind about once a week and i haven’t seen that movie in probably 20 years.
It’s a classic and a good movie,
A lot of disturbing imagery though.
My old sous chef told me that it was a bad idea to watch it. I trust him
I can handle most scary movies with no problem.
