Hi i have a question… but i don’t know if i am allowed to ask it on this forum.
My question is which anti psychotic medications mix well with cannabis?
I have had no problem with olanzapine but it did give me back pain.
Risperdal consta and cannabis did not mix very well as i started feeling like i was going to have a heart attack. Paliperidone barely any high “effect”. I have heard that abilify and seroquel mix some what well with cananbis. I don’t know about the abilify injection. Can anyone shed some light?
Cannabis is legal where i live and i have had good experiences with it.
The LSD i used when i was 13 caused me the schizoaffective disorder.
It was a very bad batch and i didn’t shower for like a month after the first trip.
Talking about cannabis is very frowned upon on the forum.
Cannabis is legal and I have positive experiences with it too,
But that kind of talk is not tolerated very well here.
While cannabis is increasingly legal in many places, the general medical concensus is that the cannabis with THC in it is probably going to increase your risk of relapse and psychosis. There is some evidence that high-CBD cannabis may be helpful (specifically the CBD portion, also available in CBD oils) but the research is based on very high levels of CBD, which most people could not afford (equivalent to $200+/per day at current CBD prices).
Basically - the THC in marijuana seems to counter the benefits of anti-psychotic medications, so its not advisable.
So, I finally got my hands on a bag of grass a few weeks ago. I have been smoking after dinner and had nothing but good things to say about it. But Monday I didn’t sleep and Tuesday was a REALLY bad day.
I have been having sleep issues on Geodon and I’m not sure if the weed was to blame, or taking my meds in the morning versus at night is what kept me up.
Either way, I’m afraid to go near the ■■■■ now.
