Cancer is ok

It’s a bit painful but it gives me time. That’s simply because I don’t have the strength to do some of the chores I used to do.

Oh man. Thats tough. Are you receiving treatment for it? Bone cancer is extremely painful. Are they giving you pain meds?

Are you getting chemo or radation treatment?

I’m watching cancer eat away at my best friend so I’m not really thinking it’s okay. He bought a new camera that he now can’t lift because of the bone cancer in his right shoulder.

I have to agree with @shutterbug on this one. I watched cancer kill my sister in her 30’s, so I have great contempt for the big C. I’m glad that you are dealing with it in a positive way and its not too hard on you atm though, @PinCushion .

@TheCanuk and @LilyoftheValley only taking Tylenol once in awhile. At my age (79), I’m just riding it out. Not bothering with all the hassle of going for treatments that, eventually, lose anyway.
When one is this old, if you don’t have some other condition, there’s always cancer.

I’m only 42. Should enjoy life more and ignore people. Are the 50s any good pretzel? 79 is good. Feck cancer

I’m surprised Tylenol is enough. I mean, I’m very glad it is enough. That’s great, actually.

I can’t make a rule about what time is happy and what isn’t, @roxanna But, yes. Enjoy life. It’s what you have what you have to give to the world.

I hope you have a peaceful and comfortable life, however long you may have. Palliative care and hospice care have come a long way in terms of keeping patients comfortable, optimizing quality of life, and minimizing pain.

No kidding. My friend was loaded with painkillers and going through edibles like chewing gum this past weekend together. It was still all he could do to go out on a shoot.
