Can you teach a person Wisdom?

Or it’s needs to be earned?

Yes, there are all sorts of methods targeting the neurology/patterns of a person in order to coerce them to use certain parts of their brain, which then ‘forces’ them into a certain state of awareness, of which conscious action and teaching can become more fluent.

In other words the brain is malleable, and you can teach just about anything, as long as the brain is capable of receiving that teaching.

Wisdom would require a state of self-awareness and patterns of self-restraint, which can be ‘programmed/taught’ into people.

People are capable of much more than they are aware of.
You might say we are being programmed into a state devoid of wisdom-like compatibility.
Happy accidents still require the right setting/environment.

As in ? Mistakes made and to be learnt from it ?

By your reply I think I almost got the information I suppose

First get taught and the do the practicals

After which by errors alone one can learn

Thanks @anon4807860 !

So what do you think we suppose,

we should learn First ?

Hey I just asked AI I almost forgot Meta

I think wisdom is the love of knowledge. You cant make some wise but you can inspire them to want to be themselves. That’s the goal of teachers. To teach students to think for themselves

Yes I recollect from you statement.

Give a man a fish, he will feed for a day!
Teach a man to fish, he will feed his entire :dna: !

Oops I am wrong !

You spoke of “think for themselves”

I think that’s totally different from what I thought

Person gains wisdom after lots and lots of thinking and trial and error. It’s a process and it’s not something that can be gained from one person or a teacher. It comes from living life.

I think education is like the kindling of a fire, not the filling of a cup.

Could you go in more detail I did not understand a thing

Kindling means the starting of a fire. So it’s like starting a fire and when it’s big enough it sustains itself. Not like filling someone’s brain with knowledge.

Is it like happyness ? Wisdom can never be attained but only pursued ?

Yes absolutely. You never stop learning. That is wisdom.

Oh crap I did not see kindling was added as a reply . Sorry.

I was checking for meaning of that word.

I was asking for the whole statement

Edit:

Oh ok I got it now !

it’s like starting a fire and when it’s big enough it sustains itself. Not like filling someone’s brain with knowledge.

And I need to quote something here. Whatever form of appreciation or praise in terms of words for a person is something like a deception or flattery and it is not the reality. We need to keep that in mind not to compare ourselves with people who get it. That will defeat the purpose of gaining wisdom.

Wisdom can be shared, not learned. Wisdom can only be gleaned by folks ready to accept that what they think by themselves may not be absolute truth.

Oops I am not able to focus :pensive:

I will sleep for some time and read you statements again.

I think somethings wrong with my thinking :thought_balloon:

@Melomaniac and @Funkeldunks

Will get back to you in some time

I’m a pretentious blank. I don’t know what wisdom is. I just commented at myself through your post.

Yes like @firemonkey always says compete only with oneself ! Not others to meet ones potential

Yes it’s true I wonder what’s wise thing to do …

Either to know what is right and then prove other wrong

Or

Know what’s wrong and prove others right .

I don’t know if you can teach wisdom, but you can part with it in little truths. It’s really up to the individual if they want to accept it.

I have gone out for a walk now
