I always say I seek freedom from Wisdom.
One man’s treasure is another man’s garbage.
What are your thoughts on Education vs Wisdom?

What are your thoughts on Education vs Wisdom?
Don’t you attain wisdom from education?
theres no time to get wisdom in education.
Wisdom is commonly defined as the ability to use knowledge and experience to make good judgments and decisions, so you need both knowledge (education) and experience.
If you know a lot about skydiving, but you’ve never skydived, I’m not going on a tandem jump with you on your first skydive.
The point of education is to inspire wisdom j think. To give you facts to teach you to love learning which I think wisdom is.
Ignorance is bliss
I think education can be a part of wisdom but isn’t absolutely necessary. Wisdom comes from learning that occurs as lived experience, aka “life learning”. “Book learning” can contribute to wisdom but doesn’t have to. That’s how i see it.
I think education and wisdom is both attained like two faces of a coin.
Nature can teach you more than books
Wisdom is very important I think. It adds value to education; there are plenty who have qualifications and not an ounce of reasoning of their own but others who have no education qualifications but plenty of examples of exercising good judgement
Which would you select?
Both are important and are typical of different life stages.
The focus on education is there in the earlier stages of life. While wisdom is something that you accrue over a lifetime due to life experiences. Some people never become wise though.
Without education, one has to rely on the kindness/knowledge of others to get (started) the experieces that when a valuable lesson learned, can give one wisdom.
Think if the (poop) hit the fan, I’d rather be in the company of someone with wisdom over education everytime.
