Can you teach a person Wisdom?

Haha!

I didn’t mean to be tricky. I’m in a reflective mood tonight.

Have fun my man, and be safe on your walk! :hugs:

You know I heard a quote

About an engineer who repair ship engine
The owner calls engineer to get it fixed
He just give some taps here and there,
The engine starts to work
The owner say here you go 100 $
The engineer says it’s 1000$
The owner say just for few taps here and there ?
Engineer says one should know where to tap
Where I learnt it in 15 years

So next time anyone trys to take away your time or interaction,
You should be well aware how expensive you and your words are.
Some take it for granted these days
Like the billionaire think there time is so valuable :joy::rofl:
Silly people with puny mind

I think wisdom can be taught. I have gained wisdom here on the forum from others. I think wisdom is learned from others sharing their experiences with others. And what they say has made them successful in life. And what they had to go through to become successful. And also to stay successful.

So dam True !!!

Just consider can a man become a billionaire in an island with out the help of other humans ?

So money is valued only when in social gatherings.

How about me I am so alone and lonely with no one to rely on !

So still does money matters or wisdom at these scenarios?

I feel we all have wisdom!!!

Only thing I am in search of Freedom from Wisdom

By the way this is my what’sapp about me section

I am living with plenty of millionaires in my life. And it’s not the money that they value but it’s responsibility. The wisdom they’re showing me is responsibility. The most they can give me in life is to show me how to be responsible with my life.

Hopefully not to work for them

Awaiting your reply, because you decide your life!

I think as my parents tell me I should stop talking.

Some time I feel, what i say is not 100% usefull but harmful :pensive:

In terms of money again. Most billionaires won’t give somebody $1 million which would be very easy for them of course. It’s about guidance. I was making bad decisions in my life. And I still am. They’re sharing the freedom they have with their lives. They’re kind of taking away my freedom to fail. It’s like I’m a slave to failure. I’m a slave to laziness and giving up. I am a slave to my bad habits. I’m a slave to my addictions. They’re actually showing me freedom over myself. Freedom that I didn’t know was possible with myself.

That was really interesting. I mean they were using the music of Jazz as example. For a period in my life my purpose was becoming a Jazz drummer. I wanted to go to music school and play professionally if I could. And I realize if I achieve that what would my life be. I think there would still be a lot of meaningless to life if I achieve that goal. People are constantly giving me a purpose in life. And I guess A more meaning life is the goal. And also to get along with other peoples purposes in life. Because one person‘s purpose can clash with another persons purpose in life. And when peoples purposes clash with each other then that becomes the challenge. Yeah it’s hard just to find a purpose in life. But it’s also hard to deal with other peoples purposes in life that you are in relationships with.

There are plenty of fish in the ocean

Two people can have similar purpose, but not same

Yes once again I think when our purposes clash it becomes challenging. And I don’t think anybody’s doing anything on purpose to frustrate me or take me from my purpose in life. I think they’re just trying to show me other ways. I have to see that movie. I’m going to watch it in full. It is very fascinating.

Caution I did not receive while watching was “not to cry”

It’s after all a movie.

One person’s wisdom is another person’s folly. For example, some guy may think it is okay to raid people’s wallets and have some spending money. Another person might decide it is better to accept being poor. Both parties look pretty foolish to each other.

I meant happy accidents, as when someone grows wise, or promotes another trait, due to the support and nurturing environment that fosters such a development.

For example of Marcus Aurelius, his destiny did not happen in a isolated vacuum, or by being born/raised in the barbarian’s camp. Clearly earlier philosophers and his own mentors helped forge the possibilities in him, to further his development.

Such a ‘happy accident’ of having a wise emperor, would be less likely if outside of the Roman empire’s support basin for civilization. Would be hard to imagine him coming to power and acting wise within the Barbarian’s army horde, if that was his developing environment.

You cannot teach wisdom if a person does not want to learn it.
Ofc it’s only my opinion
