This is a non-issue. Being a bit overweight is no problem.
I thought of doing the Atkins diet but I heard once you incorporate carbs back in your diet, you gain all the weight back
That’s amazing! I have MyFitnessPal, but now I’m using weight watchers which counts points so it’s like counting calories so I’m going to see if that’s work. My problem is being consistent in diet and actually working out
It could be not an issue to you, but it is for me. And I’m more than a bit overweight, you would know that if you asked.
The higher the dose of zyprexa I went on the less I needed to eat.
Strange I suppose
I am pretty overweight. I don’t give a damn. I’ve been through so much crap. Being overweight pales in comparison.
I’m the fattest guy on the forum
I think I could give you a run for your money in terms of how much I weigh.
I have to iron my pants in the drive way
Haha. I can tell your joking.
I lost 40 lbs after I was weaned off amitriptyline. I was also counting calories and exercising, but I had done those things before on amitriptyline and only lost 10 lbs. I still take Geodon.
I was on Amitriptyline for 2 years and it also made me gain a load of weight.
Did you take geodon while weaned off of the other med? I never heard of that drug before but I’m supposed to start Geodon
Yea I gained a ton of weight on Invega and switched to Haldol and still gained, Doctor thought since I switched the weight I gained on Haldol was all me
Yeah, I’ve been on Geodon for four years now.
Any ap I’ve ever been on has decreased my appetite to nearly nothing, while simultaneously causing me to gain weight.
It makes no sense to me, but it’s the same thing, every time.
When I was on Zyprexa or Clozaril, it was as if eating was out of my hands. I had an insatiable appetite.
Once I switched to Rexulti and 10 mg of Zyprexa it got easier to eat less.
I went from over 290 lbs 6 years ago to about 213 lbs now. I dieted with the myfitnesspal app and I do mild exercise 5x a week. But I always exercised.
I lost weight without being a ware of it soon after I switched to 10 mg of Zyprexa, even without dieting.
whilst I was on olanzapine and quetiapine all I did was gain weight, no matter what I tried, I gained most of my weight when I wasn’t even eating due to paranoia of poisoning, but I went from walking four hours a day to being kept in a locked ward and sedated out of my mind all I could do was sleep and sit. When I went on chlorpromazine later on I could lose weight normally but gained weight every time they messed with the dose, I lost four stone on weight watchersn in 2013/14 but gained it back after becoming physically unwell. I am now doing it again and have lost a stone so far so it’s very possibke
I gained 20lbs from Zyrpexa but it’s my own fault from eating junk and sitting on my rear constantly. Cut sugar out of your diet quit eating junk and exercise. Add more vegetables to what you eat. Go to a sporting goods store and get some exercise equipment. 20 minutes a day of exercise will get your metabolism up. If you drink soda that is half of your problems.
