Can you look your doctor square in the eye and say

“birth”. I haven’t tried it but I’m going to.

I don’t like looking anyone square in the eye, but I’m pretty sure I’ll have a better topic of conversation to broach when I do.

Me neither. I also get paranoid if I come across as a steering at people to much and they think I’m a weirdo.

I have kind of the opposite problem. I sometimes make too much eye contact, I think. I have a bit of an issue with trying to overcompensate for not knowing if I should be making eye contact or not. This has developed over time and wasnt an issue when I was younger at all. I don’t have this problem when Im in a comfortable position with people I know well, but when I’m at my guitar instructor for example, I think I might make too much of a point of making eye contact.
