Mine is terrible. I can look people in the eye when they talk to me, although I feel like I may be overcompensating and look like I’m staring. I cannot keep eye contact when I’m talking though. It’s too uncomfortable.
It depends. I’m working on it. I meet a lot of customers at work. I wasn’t concious about it before, but recently I found eye contact at the appropriate time makes for a better experience for both parties.
I feel this way too . Like it’s too much . And it can be bad because sometimes people think I’m trying to flirt with them when I’m not… mostly women… I guess I’m too intense with it.
I don’t worry about it too much, not like it’s killing anybody, but it is a little awkward is all. Honestly my social skills suffer so bad I’m not even worried about it anymore lol
It’ll be okay, If your social skills are as bad as mine I feel like they could only get better with age lol. I do have a job which requires talking to people, which I feel like helped some. Maybe you should consider taking up something which requires you to socialize, just a thought
I haven’t liked much eye contact for years. I started to do it less since dudes kept thinking i was threatening them or wanting to fight them by staring intensely at them. I wasnt aware i was doing it at the time though.
